Others were in need of help with their horses - So - Barry began hosting a range of training clinics to assist others in overcoming some of their frustrations and problems in working with horses. Says one student:
"Barry has a gift for teaching. He presents his ideas in a very understandable way and is sure to see that each student leaves improved and on track."
Barry's aim is to help others develop more of a partnership between the horse and themselves. "It's like dancing with a partner. We work together." He sets up a situation where the horse is allowed to think his way through a problem.
One of the main goals in these clinics is to try to get people to see through the horse's eyes so that they can have a better understanding of how to communicate with the horse on the horse's level. "You're not going to go home after one clinic with all the knowledge. You have to live and experience it. But you will have a grasp of what it can be like to dance with your partner in harmony.''
